An Award-Winning Night!
Well done to all the team at our Stone Willy’s Kitchen site at Westacre Services in Salisbury for winning best regional forecourt for the West Country at the Forecourt Trader Awards last night. No less than the team deserved after a lot of hard work over the last year, and no doubt a few sore heads this morning!
We installed our first Stone Willy’s Kitchen Express unit in the petrol station as part of the Gardner Garages refurbishment of the site. Our ‘Express’ hot tower offered a slim down menu featuring our best selling 20 items from our menu to cover all day parts. The store was also our first to introduce a delivery service, too – further enhancing the sales throughout the day and evening.
The success of this site has been a major contributor to not just how we’ve approached food-to-go in subsequent forecourts, but many operators have taken inspiration from the ‘wall of food’ idea that has worked so well here. Following on from the success at Westacre Services, our partnership with Gardner Garages has continued with a second site in Cheltenham, too.
